AhlulBayt News Agency" Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri-Moghaddam, has warned that the region will no longer be safe for US forces.
In an interview with IRNA on Tuesday, Amiri-Moghaddam said that the renewed aggression of the United States and the Zionist regime that led to the assassination of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was a very tragic incident not for Iran but for the Islamic Ummah in all countries of the region.
He emphasized that the result of today’s crimes proved that the Zionist regime is a fake regime and sooner or later it will be eradicated from this region.
“We are confident that the United States is no longer safe in the region and wherever there are Muslims,” he said, adding, “The American forces can never roam freely in the region”.
Following the joint military aggression by the US and the Israeli regime, Iran delivered a decisive, targeted, and proportionate response to this action. Within the framework of this legitimate response, military and security positions of the Israeli regime in various cities of occupied Palestine, as well as bases and centers for the deployment of American forces in the region, were targeted with precision-guided missiles, drones, and aerial attacks.
Iran’s authorities have emphasized that these operations were carried out within the framework of the inherent right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter, with the aim of deterrence, preventing the continuation of aggression, and imposing costs on the aggressors.
Iran has warned that any expansion of the aggression will be met with a stronger and broader response.
